I have a terrible neighbor that is making my life hell.Can you please email a spell to get rid of my neighbor and achieve a better life with new neighbors that have kind thoughts? Thanks, Tina Tina, first reflect upon the situation. What is it that they do that invades your life? Noise? Fights? Music? Kids? Ugly looks in the hallway? Then look at yourself. Have you been a good neighbor yourself? have you introduced yourself to them? Have you gone over and asked them to turn down the music, stop stealing your newspaper or quit drinking and beating up your wife personally? Sometimes, just the fact that you KNOW it is going on, scares them into “being good”. Have you turned up your stereo when theirs was loud? Have you clomped around in army boots on their ceiling? Like attracts like, and this is not way to act if you want good neighbors. Second step, have you contacted the landlord? Keeping a journal of dates and times of occurrences can not only help your landlord but also keeping a record/making copies of complaint letters to the landlord can also help YOU if you so choose to move without penalty of deposit withholding. OK, so getting all the non-magical items out of the way, you now need to get some blessed salt from the local Catholic Church, or if you cannot get it, make your own. It is east to do. First, get some holy water from the Church and go to the store and buy a white glass 7 – day “novena” candle and box of Kosher Salt. Why Kosher Salt? Because it has been prayed over by the Rabbi, therefore it is spiritually “clean” and “holy”. Then, get a large clear glass bowl, pour the salt box into it, clean the candle with lemon juice (see past blog posts here at free-candle-spells) and set the candle in the center of the bowl, on the salt. Sprinkle the holy water – NOT TOO MUCH – over the salt, light the candle, pray that God, the Guardian Angles and Saints bless this salt for its’ intended protective use. Set it aside until the candle burns out – about 5 to 7 days. When done, dissolve some of this salt in water and wash down your door, door handle, door knob and all the outside of your place, including your walkway, steps, porch and all other areas leading up to your door. Then, get a reversible candle (see past blog posts here at free-candle-spells) and burn in your home on a piece of paper that you have written your neighbors’ names, praying that all their evil intent return to them. make sure you clean the candle with lemon juice. If all else fails, sprinkle asafoetida, an East Indian herb, around their doorstep, car, shoes (if they keep them outside) and curse them all the way, telling them to “LEAVE” and “MOVE OUT”. The herb is quite….well, smelly and you can’t get it out. PERSONAL NOTE: Years ago, my eldest daughter made a complaint to me about her neighbors. She claimed it was ‘all their fault’, and that they were hostile and cruel. I told her to sprinkle some asafoetida in their air conditioning vent (window mount model), and when it gets hot (it was summer), they will turn on the air, spraying the whole house with the herb. I warned her that she must be absolutely innocent of any wrongdoing or this will backfire on her. Well….it did, because my daughter was being a bad neighbor back and the neighbors beat...
Mercury turns retrograde approximately three times a year. Each of these periods gives you a time that when all that can happen, will happen – like a cosmic Murphy’s Law campaign has been given the go ahead! Cars start acting up, mail gets delivered to other addresses, “the check’s in the mail” takes three times as long to get there, computers will blowout and people will change their minds half way down the road! You start to wonder what to do when things go haywire! Misunderstandings are par for the course and making sure you reiterate every spoken agreement as you will find that people are not hearing what you are saying. Crossing you “t’s” and dotting your “i’s” is de rigeur. If you are in legal court proceedings, you may find that the other party asks for a continuance or doesn’t show up at all! What is a Mercury retrograde? If you are of the planetary type, a simple explanation is that all the planets seem to “march” across the sky. When a planet goes”retrograde” it would appear in your telescope to move backwards from the forward progression it was making previously. Since Mercury is the planet of communication, the blame for so much confusion falls on its’ shoulders. From a metaphysical perspective, these three times in the year when Mercury is retrograde is to rebalance or regulate what is going on. The big Dow Stock Exchange in the Fall of 2008 came during a Mercury retrograde in Libra, whose symbols is the Scales. Interesting, don’t you think? More importantly, the golden winged dude carrying the flowers as a trademark of FTD is the winged god Mercury, and the message transport system is dubbed “the Mercury’ or “Merc” for short! Needless to say, the boss told me to never let him know when there is another Mercury retrograde after he got the system reconnected to his computers right before February 14th. Because we as humans expect things to run in a straight line for us, when Mercury goes retrograde, we get upset and short tempered with people because of this could of confusion that seems to be permeating everywhere. The easiest way to deal with life during Mercury retrograde times is just know that something, somewhere is bound to go haywire and even if you fix the problem, expect to revisit the issue again once the planet is moving forward again. HINT: Do no, I mean, DO NOT get any car repairs done during a Mercury retrograde. You might get the wrong sized tires put on your car (like me once), or the mechanic will have to “re-do” the work – and you pay twice! This Monday, Sept. 15th, will usher in the Full Moon in Pisces. This full moon is good for banishing spells that could be causing you confusion or to throw an enemy off track if you feel someone is gunning for you. It is also a time to cast off any people who resemble “Psychic Vampires”; people who drain your energy when you are in their company. In addition, this Moon is call a Harvest Moon and occurs in September (with a few October exceptions) and is the closest Full Moon the the Autumn Equinox. It is called the Harvest Moon as it rises within 30 minutes of the Sun’s setting on that day. A long time ago when farmers did not have tractors, they could work by the light of the Harvest Moon to get their crops harvested. The Harvest Moon is the fullest Full Moon of the year. It is so large that it will amaze you and it will give light all through the night. This past weekend, Asian communities worldwide celebrated the Moon Festival with special cakes and gifts for the children. I hope you were one of the fortunate ones who attended this special festivity. Time to get out those reversible candles and send back all negativity to the place of origin. Full Moon time is also a great time to banish or send away any negativity, bills that have been plaguing you, excess weight on those tummies and thighs and bad boyfriends, neighbors and gray hair (well…Miss Clairol MIGHT have a hand in THAT one as well!) 🙂 Full Moon in Pisces is also a time to unplug the phone, curl up on the couch and just…veg. Part three of a three part series on Reversible or “Double Action” candle preparation. Now that you have identified, purchased and “flipped” your reversible candle to reveal the wick at the black end of the candle and carved a name or command into the candle, it is time to anoint this candle and get it burning to send back all that negativity from whence it came from! Using the “Up and Down” Method of Anointing Reversible Candles (Most commonly used for two-colored, reversible or double action candles) Many people who do candle work will use two colored candles, most commonly known as “double-action”; candles to work both way for them in the particular situation. These candles commonly come in red/black, green/black and white/black. There are those who make their own candles and the combination of the colors may be personal to each individuals needs. The first photo shows that you always clean your candle with lemon juice to “clear” and “clean” the candle. Then, to anoint a candle in this manner, you would need to put the different oils in your hands, one for each condition (positive and banishing) and grasping the candle horizontally the candle in the center with the appropriate color, move from center to ends (see photos) alternately, moving the banishing or black prayer or intention first, then the other color hand and intention second.
