Using SACHET POWDERS with Candles There are different ideas that exist about the using of sachet powers or “powders”, which consist of talcum powder with ground herbs and drops of the essential oils used in creation of the anointing oils for the particular situation. Some schools of thought think that the sachet powder is applied in lieu of herbs and spices; some believe that sachet powders are applied last, after the oil and herb or spice.
