Occasionally, I receive a note or e-mail in regards of burning a candle for money drawing or prosperity, giving me details on the successes and sometimes non deliverance of any financial gains as a result of said candle burn. I think it is important to not rely on one candle being burned to change your financial outlook; it has to be a complete lifestyle change. While the candle will break open those streams of income coming it, it might not be with just one candle, but a series of candles. Think of your financial success and prosperity as a lover – would you want to produce loving feelings to someone who neglects you or maybe downright uses you for their personal gain? Also, are you helping your financial and prosperity success by “spreading the love” with tithes, donations and contributions to charities and spiritual institutions that are near and dear to your heart? This lesson was the hardest one for me to learn as I like to see those numbers in the bank just as you do. A few hours after I drop the envelopes into the mail, my telephone starts ringing and I get busy. I am not saying that you should send your complete paycheck, but take a token amount – five or ten dollars – the amount of a 2 value meals a week at your local burger place – and send it to someone who helps out society. For instance, the prayer that I pray over the check I send to the soup kitchen mission goes something like this, “Thank you for blessing me with this money so that I can feed my family and keep them warm; so much so that my cupboards are full. May everyone have full cupboards and if only each and every person in my town would send in just five or ten dollars, there would be no more hunger in our community.” I always have enough to eat and I am igniting hope that others in this city would hear my prayer – somewhere. Another idea is to incorporate the philosophy of Feng Shui by cleaning out your closets, garage, cabinets and desks. Let’s face it, we need money to exist in this world. Money is the tangible representation of energy – how much energy that you put out in physical form to be of “value” to someone who judges that. In the Old Testament days, there was not money as we know it today, but more like a bartering system that each participant deems a value on what he possessed – whether it be a flock of lambs or bushels of wheat. each participant would meet at a certain location, called a market or the temple area of the nearest town. There the people would trade their items for other things needed from others. There were some coins of gold and silver that were rather misshapen and crude in form in existence, but for the common man, trade was the best route to getting things to others and gaining their items needed. In today’s world, there are things that can bring a continuous flow of money into your hands. First, you must give to get. Yep. Find charities that are near and dear to you and give in small but frequent amounts and soon you will see the cash flow coming in. You may tithe to a church, but it is also in the giving of other good works that will also give back to you. I give to one local charity that feeds the homeless and gives them just barely enough for a person to be dignified (soap, toothbrushes, etc.) I send in a check, but before I do I pray over that check that my small amount be coupled with others’ small amounts and we make a mighty difference in the community. I give thanks that I always have food in my cabinet and a roof over my head and that if everyone in my town could give the amount of a latte or a value meal, no one could go hungry. I do have a church that I give to, although I do not attend. It is the church of Reverend Ike of the United Christian Evangelistic Association. He has sent many mailings to me that touched my situation at the time and it is eerily true that when I send in a donation, I get so busy I can’t keep up! This is a simple and effective way to begin to use candles to bring in money. Ingredients: 1 Deposit slip from your banking institution or a check made out to you, signed by you, and the date that you would like that money to appear in your account. 1 green 7-day Glass Novena Candle 1 bottle of any of the traditional money oils (“Money Drawing”, “Pay Me”,”Wealthy Way” or “Prosperity”) 1 Tbsp. Basil 1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon 1 tsp. Granulated Sugar 1 small dish, bowl or saucer Clean the inside and outside of the glass of your candle with lemon juice or alcohol, wiping it dry with a paper towel and letting it air dry while you assemble the rest of your supplies. Write a reasonable amount of money in the deposit area of your deposit slip or in the “Pay to” area of your personal check. Do not write in $1,000,000, as you might find that you are asking the Universe for too much. Reasonable amounts could be in the thousands, but just like a yearly salary, you get the same amount in payments, not a lump sum. remember to sign the date on which you would like to see this amount be in your possession. Place the deposit slip or personal check on the place or saucer. Take the Basil, Sugar, and Ground Cinnamon into your two hands. Pray over it, asking for it to be Blessed and Activated to do the work you have intended. Sprinkle the mixture on top of the deposit slip or personal check. Anoint the inside wax area of your candle with your condition oil, rubbing in the oil counter-clockwise to “draw in” the amount needed. Set candle on top of deposit slip in the bowl that holds the herb/sugar mixture. Light candle and pray Psalm 23 (“The Lord is my Shepherd”) three times. Visit you candle twice a day, once in the morning, once at night. Pray the Psalm 23 once each time you visit candle. You may begin to see “money” in the forms of loans being paid back to you, “windfalls” and “rebates” coming to you that you did not expect, extra discount savings at the cash register (For instance, the item is marked $5.00, but “rings up” at $3.00 – that is a two dollar savings and two dollars towards your goal!). Repeat candle spell until desired amount is received. I do this candle spell almost every week (I say “almost” because I intertwine this spell with the Wednesday’s St Expedite spell (kind of like “double-backing’ each other) and I make out my deposits slips in small amounts ($200.00 for the payment on the high school ring, for example); so you can see that I have stated a “specific need” or bill hat has to be paid.
