The belief that each day of the week holds certain magical influence and properties is an age old tradition. Each day is specifically ruled by a planet, and the energy of that planet and what they represent, aids and assists devotees achieve their magical goals. Here are the days of the week and their signature planets:

• SUNDAY: (ruled by the Sun): The day of the week to perform spells and rituals involving healing, blessing, banishing evil, and exorcisms. Color of candles to use are orange, white, yellow.

• MONDAY: (ruled by the Moon): The day of the week to perform spells and rituals involving sending emotional communications, travel, Moon Goddess rituals, purification, protection, peace, female fertility, and reconciliation. Color of candles to use are silver, white, grey.

• TUESDAY: (ruled by Mars): The day of the week to perform spells and rituals involving courage, energy, physical strength, spell activation, banishing negativity, revenge, military honor, courage, surgery and the breaking of negative spells. Color of candles to use are red, orange.

• WEDNESDAY: (ruled by Mercury): The day of the week to perform spells and rituals involving communication, the use of mental facilities, writing, knowledge, wisdom, study, seeking higher education, and business transactions. Color if candles to use are yellow, grey, purple, and all opalescent hues.

• THURSDAY: (ruled by Jupiter): The day of the week to perform spells and rituals involving legal matters, the Courts and court cases, male fertility, health, wealth, happiness, healing animals, crops, the land, and  agriculture. Colors of candles to use are blue, brown.

• FRIDAY: (ruled by Venus):The day of the week to perform spells and rituals involving prosperity, abundance, love, romance, beauty, sex, marriage, and friendships. Colors: pink and green.

• SATURDAY: (ruled by Saturn): The day of the week to perform spells and rituals involving psychic and spirit communication, meditation, deploying or protection from psychic attacks, locating lost things or missing persons, and activation major changes in one’s life. Colors of candles to use are black, blue, grey, purple.
