The Full Moon in Taurus occurs on November 6, 2014 at 5:23 pm E.S.T. This Moon, in the astrological sign of Taurus, the Bull, is considered to have the qualities of a “Fixed” Earth sign, meaning that the energy is practical, stable, materialistic and protective.
Utilizing the energy of this Full Moon in Taurus, candles should be burnt for “Reversing” and other Protection work should be done. It is a bad time to light candles for gain or obtaining something new, as the Taurean energy is “bullish” and could take the intrusion of “the new” as a threat. It is also not a good time for money spells as the energy warrants you to conserve and spend less. It is also not the best time to light candles for love, as the effect might be so overbearing that it will chase away any chances of renewing love after this Moon transit.
Other planetary factors in effect is that change is in the air and perceptions are keen and razor sharp. “If it quacks like a duck…” holds true here. Don’t be fooled by stories you hear. Protect yourself and your loved ones first, then extend help to others. It is OK to say ‘No” to others if it going to cause drama and strife in your family and home. Your answer may be the catalyst to activate change in their lives, as it may be a ‘karmic lesson’ for them that you refuse assistance.
At the end of the transit, about November 21st, light a candle of Blessing and Healing or a white candle anointed with Blessing or Healing Oil to bring a sense of peace and nurturing to the home.
The New Moon occurs on November 22, 2014.
