The New Moon in Taurus occurs on April 29, 2014 at 1:15 am E.S.T. This Moon, in the astrological sign of Taurus, the Bull, is consider to be a “Fixed” sign, meaning that the energy of this Moon is stable, materialistic, practical and protective. There is also a Solar Eclipse on this day, and because it sits in opposition to the Solar Eclipse of last November, the issues that were on the table then will be revisited – mainly government shutdowns, fiscal crises and pension difficulties.
