The Full Moon in Sagittarius occurs on June 4,2012 at 6:12 am E.S.T. In addition, we will be under the influence of a Lunar Eclipse this same day. Events that are present or evident during an eclipse, whether it is Solar or Lunar, will be revisited approximately six months later. Be aware what you do and what you initiate will come back to bless you or haunt you in December.
The Moon in the astrological sign of Sagittarius is considered to be a “Mutable” Fire sign, meaning it fluctuates between optimism and pessimism and is creative and aggressive. Burning candles at this time to reduce or banish bills and doubt on career goals is good at this time.

In addition, the Lunar eclipse will make it hard for sides to see each others view. This lunation will be hard for relationships so in all cases, use caution with words to your partner. It may be hard for some individuals to maintain a sense of peace for all with others. Wear the other persons shoes for a while and you may see their perspective.

Full Moons are considered optimum time to light candles for a “banishing” or “reversing” nature and this is why the black on red Reversible candle is so popular now to purchase. Most botanicas offer the red on top and black on bottom type of Reversible Candle (see photo)

but old time hoodoo, conjurers and root workers know that it is the black-on-red Reversible candle that has the most reversing power. Why? It is because the theory is that red is an energetic power color to ‘hurry things up’ and black is considered a negative color. The thought for using a “black on red” reversible candle is that you want to “burn off the negativity and bring in the good fast”.

This is exemplified by burning the black wax off (on the top of the candle) to bring in the reversing power to make things ‘right’ (the red wax on bottom). What has happened is that candle makers believed that since the double action (or reversible) candles (black/green, black/white, black/red) were burned as they were poured with the color on top of the black, that the glass encased “novena”7-day vigil candle should be poured just the same. They did not understand that old-time rootworkers would cut off the tip of the top of the candle and ‘flip’ the candle and dig out the wick from the candle end to use the candle that would make it appear ‘upside down’.
