The Full Moon in occurs on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 4:22 am E. S. T. and during a Lunar Eclipse to boot! The Moon in Cancer is “Cardinal” in Nature, which means it is emotional with a capital “E”, moving and innovative. Keeping your cool over the 4th of July holiday might have been an issue for some but during this lunation, the need to pull inward and center yourself is strong. The eclipse may usher in a seven week mood of introspection in what you can and cannot control in your surroundings. It will take a lot of focus, determination and discipline to not ‘lose it’ and throw caution to the wind. Step back and take three deep breaths before answering.
This is a good time for burning white candles anointed with “King Solomon” Condition Oil. Many use purple candles for the “King Solomon” candle spell for wisdom and powers of discernment, but during this Full Moon, it may be wise to use white candles for this spell for clarity of thought.
